The Junior Production Officer assists in the day-to-day operations of the production department to ensure that pharmaceutical products are manufactured in compliance with

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

,

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

, and

regulatory requirements

. This role involves monitoring production activities, maintaining records, coordinating with quality and maintenance teams, and supporting continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, organizing, and executing daily production activities as per the approved manufacturing schedule. Ensure production is carried out according to SOPs, GMP, and safety guidelines. Monitor critical process parameters and ensure batch records are properly filled and maintained. Support senior staff in preparing and reviewing production documentation (BMRs, BPRs, and logs). Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth production flow. Assist in process validation, equipment qualification, and line clearance activities. Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of production areas and equipment. Report deviations, breakdowns, or non-conformities promptly to the Production Manager. Participate in training programs and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Follow all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies and procedures during production operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production (formulation / tablet / capsule / sterile manufacturing units preferred).

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance (USFDA, WHO, MHRA, etc.) Understanding of production equipment and processes. Ability to interpret SOPs and batch manufacturing records.

Soft Skills:

Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping ability. Problem-solving attitude and willingness to learn.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
