US/UK markets
. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving product development from concept to launch -- ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics, market trends, and commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development & Merchandising
? Work closely with design, sourcing, and production teams to develop new jewellery collections in line with market trends and brand positioning.
? Coordinate end-to-end product lifecycle -- from design brief, sampling, costing, and approvals to final production handover.
? Maintain detailed product development trackers, ensuring timely updates and adherence to launch calendars.
? Ensure all samples meet the quality, design, and price parameters suitable for US/UK retail standards.
2. Trend & Market Analysis
? Research seasonal trends, consumer preferences, and competitor assortments within the US/UK markets.
? Support in developing range plans, pricing structures, and assortment strategies based on regional insights.
? Suggest new concepts, materials, or techniques to strengthen product appeal and differentiation.
3. Vendor & Supplier Coordination
? Liaise with local and international vendors for sample development, costing, and order follow-ups.
? Negotiate costs, lead times, and ensure timely delivery of samples and final products.
? Collaborate with QC teams to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards for the target market.
4. Communication & Reporting
? Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Design, Marketing, and Production.
? Prepare periodic reports on product development progress, sampling status, and upcoming launches.
? Maintain SKU-level product data and ensure accuracy across systems and documentation.
Key Skills & Competencies:
? Strong understanding of
jewellery design, materials (gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, etc.), and production processes
.
? Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage multiple stakeholders across time zones.
? Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail, trends, and commercial viability.
? Proficient in Excel, PLM tools, and presentation software.
? Knowledge of
US/UK jewellery trends, pricing standards, and consumer preferences
is a strong advantage.
Qualifications & Experience:
? Bachelor's degree in
Jewellery Design, or related field
.
?
3-6 years of experience
in product development or merchandising within the jewellery or fashion accessories industry.
? Experience handling international markets (especially
US or UK
) preferred.
