Yellow Slice is looking for Junior Product Designers who can join us immediately with at least 8 months of work experience to work on site in Chennai. With a strong understanding of best practices, UX Designers are the ultimate end-user advocates who produce online experiences that engages even the most discerning audiences. He/she should be data junkies who consume large amounts of information and distill it into simple yet engaging and useful applications to serve a wide variety of online experiences. They need to think persona creation, affinity mapping, site maps, wireframes, information architecture and story line.

Skills and Responsibilities

Conduct user research and provide recommendations both in written and visual (wireframe) form Work on designs across mobile, tablet and desktop mediums. Test concepts, perform task and user analysis, and assist with user acceptance testing Good knowledge about present and future UI & UX trends Should be able to sketch on paper Develop prototypes that succinctly illustrate hierarchy and navigation Strategize and drive interactive product development from sitemap to launch of the product or website Create compelling online consumer experience that drive business results Possess knowledge of prototyping and wireframe creation tools such as Axure, iRise, Vision, Uxpin etc Should have good hands on experience on Adobe photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch Have a fair knowledge and understanding of frontend and backend technology
