Role Summary:

The

Junior Procurement Engineer

will support day-to-day sourcing and purchasing operations. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, processing purchase orders, maintaining records, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production. The ideal candidate should be technically inclined, organized, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing raw materials, packaging items, spare parts, and consumables for production. Raise purchase orders, follow up on delivery timelines, and ensure proper documentation. Liaise with vendors to collect quotations, samples, and technical details. Maintain procurement trackers and update Google Sheets regularly. Coordinate with the stores and production teams to understand stock levels and material needs. Support in vendor evaluation and maintaining supplier data.
