Role Overview



The

Junior Financial Planner

will assist senior planners in designing, preparing, and executing financial plans tailored to client goals. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates with a passion for wealth management and financial advisory, looking to grow in a structured, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities



Client Onboarding & Data Gathering

Collect financial and personal data from clients (income, assets, liabilities, insurance, investments). Ensure accurate KYC documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Plan Preparation & Analysis

Assist in building financial plans, cash flow analysis, investment portfolios, and insurance reviews. Conduct basic research on mutual funds, insurance, bonds, equity, and alternate products. Support tax and retirement planning models under guidance of senior planners.

Execution & Servicing

Coordinate with Operations & Customer Service team for investment execution. Track plan progress, prepare client investment reports, and flag deviations. Support cross-selling opportunities aligned with client needs.

Client Engagement

Attend review meetings with senior planners. Handle client queries on basic investment products with prompt and accurate responses.

Internal Collaboration

Update internal software and maintain client financial data. Support compliance, audit, and documentation processes.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)



Accuracy & timeliness of client financial data entry and analysis. Number of financial plans/reports prepared and delivered within TAT. Contribution to client satisfaction (feedback rating ? 4/5). Adherence to compliance and documentation standards. Demonstrated learning of products and planning tools.

Qualifications & Skills



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field. NISM / CFP / CFA Level 1 (preferred or willingness to pursue). Strong analytical and MS Excel/financial modeling skills. Good communication (written & verbal) and client-facing confidence. Detail-oriented, ethical, and eager to learn.
