Position:

Junior Laravel Developer

Experience:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using

Laravel (v8+)

and

PHP

. Build and manage

RESTful APIs

and handle third-party API integrations. Optimize application performance and manage

MySQL

database queries. Implement and maintain

queues

,

cron jobs

, and background processes. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features. Participate in system architecture planning and design scalable backend structures. Use

Git

for version control and contribute to code reviews and documentation.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with

Laravel (v8 or above)

and

core PHP

. Proficient in

MySQL

database design and query optimization. Experience in implementing

API integrations

and managing data exchange between frontend and backend. Familiarity with

queues (e.g., Redis)

and

scheduled tasks (cron jobs)

. Good understanding of

software architecture patterns (MVC, RESTful)

. Proficient with

Git

and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews). Strong debugging, testing, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Experience in working with

cloud hosting

(e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean). Familiarity with

Docker

or other containerization tools is a plus.
