Roles & responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications. Create and manage database structures, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval. Develop unit tests, and maintain technical documentation for better code understanding and usability. Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into applications. Stay ahead of web development trends and incorporate new technologies. Communicate with clients (both verbal and written) to understand requirements and provide regular updates.

Skills required

Hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel development. Strong command over front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with Git and version control for seamless project management. Proficiency in OOP, design patterns, security best practices, and refactoring. Familiarity with the MVC architecture, particularly in Laravel. Experience in writing unit tests and working with testing frameworks. Database management skills, including MySQL/PostgreSQL (MongoDB knowledge is a plus). Experience in payment gateway integration. Knowledge of RESTful API design, data formats (JSON, XML, CSV), and caching strategies. * Ability to manage and optimize queries and data structures for improved performance.
