Your Focus
As Junior Perfumer, you will create new fragrances for regional and international markets, using combination of raw materials to meet specific aesthetic and technical customer requirements.
The role is Mumbai, India based and will report to Commercial Director & Creative Centre Leader Scent, ISC.
How you will ContributeArticulate well what makes a formula perform (key ingredients, dosage). Learn how to develop silent mods (Paperwork, Regulatory and GC not affected). Participate in exercises to analyze CPA. Master sensory evaluation and typical tests such as triangular test, dual test. Develop Acute Category and customers knowledge. Interact with the rest of the technical perfumery team globally, GRA, FAD, Creative and Technical Applications teams. Develop some interaction with quality and operations. Develop knowledge of classical common bases. Provide innovative solutions for problematic materials, 3rd party bases, red and M&A ingredients.

What you will need to be successfulMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Science & Technology, Chemical Engineering or any other relevant discipline. Minimum 3-6 years' experience in the chemical, consumer goods or fragrance industry. Business Acumen with high customer orientation. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact or communicate across all levels. Good organizing and problem-solving skills. Solid communication and presentation skills. Exceptional Olfactory evaluation skills of natural essential oils and aromatic perfumery materials. Training as an organoleptic evaluator is preferred. Strong knowledge of raw material composition, chemistry and application technology. Knowledge in industry regulations.
