The MIS cum Cashier is responsible for maintaining accurate financial transactions and preparing regular management information system (MIS) reports. This position plays a key role in ensuring effective cash handling, financial record-keeping, and timely reporting to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities'. MIS (Management Information System) Responsibilities

Collect, compile, and analyze operational and financial data from various departments. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review. Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases and records in Excel, ERP, or accounting systems. Generate reports on sales, revenue, expenses, and other performance metrics as required. Coordinate with departments to ensure timely and accurate data submission. Support audit and compliance requirements by providing relevant MIS data and documentation.

B. Cashier Responsibilities

Handle daily cash, cheque, and online transactions accurately. Prepare daily cash collections and deposit them into the bank as per company policy. Maintain a cashbook and reconcile daily cash balances. Issue receipts and invoices for all transactions. Manage petty cash and record day-to-day office expenses. Ensure timely submission of all cash reports and reconciliation statements to the Accounts department.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong proficiency in

MS Excel

Tally ERP

, or similar accounting software. Good knowledge of

basic accounting principles

cash handling

. Analytical skills for data management and report preparation. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in financial dealings.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in

Commerce

Business Administration

Computer Applications

, or a related field. Diploma or certification in

MIS

Accounting

, or

Data Management

preferred.

Experience:

1-3 years of relevant experience in MIS reporting, accounting, or cashiering. Experience with ERP systems or accounting software is an added advantage.
