About the Role:

Orange Health is looking for a

Microbiology Technician

with 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or diagnostic lab (manual system preferred). The role involves performing microbiological tests with accuracy, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily lab operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform microbiological tests on various specimens using aseptic techniques. Handle

ELISA

and other manual microbiology methods. Prepare and maintain reagents, media, and cultures. Conduct

quality control

checks and ensure accuracy of test results. Operate and maintain lab instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, and incubators. Accurately record and report test findings as per SOPs. Maintain lab records, inventory, and ensure cleanliness. Follow

safety protocols

and

Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

B.Sc. in Microbiology or Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).

1-2 years

of experience in a clinical or diagnostic microbiology setup (manual system preferred). Good understanding of microbiological testing techniques. Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and documentation skills. Team player with the ability to work independently.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
