We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Junior Merchandiser
to support the buying and merchandising team. The role involves coordinating sampling, production follow-ups, vendor communication, and ensuring timely product delivery in line with brand standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior merchandiser in product development and range planning.
Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for samples, approvals, and production updates.
Conduct quality checks for samples and ensure brand quality standards.
Support in preparing line sheets, product catalogues, and shoot samples.
Communicate with design, production, and buying teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor stock movement and assist in replenishment planning.
Help in coordination for photoshoots and website uploads (for e-commerce teams).
Track delivery schedules and ensure on-time dispatch.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
Good coordination and follow-up skills.
Basic knowledge of costing and vendor management.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and data management
Qualifications:
Graduate in Fashion Merchandising / Apparel Design / Textile Management or equivalent.
1-3 years of relevant experience in apparel merchandising (preferably women's ethnic wear).
