The Junior Mechanical Engineer assists in operating and maintaining mechanical equipment in the power plant. The role includes monitoring machines, helping with repairs, and supporting day-to-day plant activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitoring natural gas based power plant Engine, boilers, pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
2. Record daily readings like temperature, pressure, and flow.
3. Report any abnormal noise, vibration, or equipment issues.
4. Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance work.
5. Help in repairing and replacing parts such as valves, pumps, and bearings.
6. Follow lubrication schedules and maintain equipment records.
7. Support senior engineers during troubleshooting.
8. Maintain daily maintenance and operation logs.
9. Follow all safety rules and use PPE.
10. Assist in checking and arranging spare parts when required.
Skills & Qualifications
1. Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
2. 1-3 years of experience (power plant experience preferred).
3. Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and tools.
4. Ability to work in shifts and follow instructions.
