precision engineering, mechanisms, and rugged defence systems

Key Responsibilities
Create
3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings
for parts and sub-assemblies
Assist in
mechanism layout and integration
for small arms, launchers, enclosures, and housings
Apply
basic GD&T, fits, and tolerances
as per engineering standards
Support
prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing
activities
Assist in
shock, vibration, and thermal analysis
under guidance
Coordinate with
manufacturing and machining teams
for design feasibility
Prepare and maintain
BoMs, drawings, and revision control documents
Support design validation and documentation activities
Required Skills
Strong fundamentals in
Mechanical Engineering
Hands-on knowledge of
3D CAD software
(SolidWorks / Fusion 360)
Understanding of
manufacturing processes
(machining, fabrication, assembly)
Basic knowledge of
GD&T, fits & tolerances
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Willingness to learn and work in
defence R&D environment
Preferred / Added Advantage
Exposure to
precision engineering, aerospace, automotive, or defence projects
Academic or professional experience with:
Mechanisms
Structural or thermal analysis
Prototyping & testing
Familiarity with
defence / MIL-grade hardware concepts
Qualification
B.E / B.Tech in
Mechanical Engineering
Freshers must have
strong academic projects and hands-on design exposure
