Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and hardworking Junior IT Support & Network Technician to assist with day-to-day IT operations across multiple campuses. The ideal candidate should have basic hands-on experience with network support, system installations, security tools, and both Windows and macOS systems. The role is ideal for someone looking to grow in IT infrastructure and educational technology support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Support
Provide first-level support for Windows and Apple (macOS) devices.
Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues for staff and faculty.
Assist in setting up new devices, updating systems, and installing required software.
2. Network & Wi-Fi Support
Assist with monitoring internet connectivity, campus Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
Support senior IT staff in maintaining network uptime across campuses.
Troubleshoot Wi-Fi coverage issues, basic cabling faults, and connectivity problems.
3. Firewall & Security Assistance
Support in monitoring firewall alerts and applying basic security recommendations.
Assist in updating antivirus solutions and maintaining endpoint security.
Follow data security protocols and escalate critical threats to senior IT personnel.
4. Software Installation & System Setup
Install and configure standard software applications as per institutional guidelines.
Support ERP, LMS, and educational software operations under supervision.
Maintain software logs, update records, and ensure proper licensing usage.
5. Multi-Campus Coordination
Visit different campuses to assist with IT tasks, troubleshooting, and installations.
Coordinate with campus administrative teams to identify and respond to basic tech needs.
Assist senior IT staff during audits, upgrades, or special technology setups.
6. IT Asset Support
Help maintain inventory of all IT equipment, devices, and accessories.
Ensure proper labeling, documentation, movement logs, and functioning of assets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or network/system roles.
Basic knowledge of internet servers, firewalls, and network components (routers, switches).
Working knowledge of Windows OS and macOS environments.
Familiarity with Wi-Fi setup, troubleshooting, and basic networking fundamentals.
Ability to install software, configure devices, and provide user support.
Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
Hardworking, reliable, disciplined, and comfortable with travel.
Additional Requirements
Immediate joiner preferred.
Flexibility to support urgent issues or school events when required.
Positive attitude and eagerness to grow under senior IT guidance.
Location: Malad (Multi-Campus -Travel Required within Mumbai )
Experience: Minimum 1+ years in a similar role (experience in educational institutes strongly preferred)
