SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION

Jacobs\xe2\x80\x99 IT Sourcing and Procurement Operations organization manages IT suppliers and develops and executes procurement category strategies that support the needs of Jacobs\xe2\x80\x99 business units and IT. The Junior IT Buyer provides the internal customer with procurement regarding the product and builds relationships with stakeholders to support early engagement opportunities with suppliers to optimize investment.

Under the direction of IT Procurement Operations Manager, this individual will support the purchase of hardware and low dollar software

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Exists within our Jacobs\xe2\x80\x99 IT Sourcing and Procurement Operations organization and reports to the Manager of IT Procurement Operations
• Is responsible for procurement activity in line with the firm\xe2\x80\x99s internal needs

• Administers purchase orders, including change order processing (creating modifications), contractual compliance

• Evaluates facts surrounding purchase order-related problem areas, determines the most appropriate remedial actions, and implements such actions through available means

• Facilitates and solves any invoice related queries

• Performs contract management and procurement activities within the Ariba Spend Management Suite, Service Now and Oracle Purchasing system

• Maintains purchase order and purchasing process documentation

• Uses superior interpersonal communications skills to effectively interface with other buyers, stakeholders and functional partners at all levels of the organization
• Candidate must be okay to work in rotational shift

Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

• +2 years of experience in procurement /sale /logistics or customer service
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree is required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Some experience within Procurement spend categories is an asset
• Knowledge of Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Strategic Sourcing process and methodology is an asset
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
