Job Description

Assist in developing design concepts, schematic drawings, and preliminary layouts for various project types.

Create study models, renderings, and presentation materials using both digital tools and traditional methods.

Support senior architects in design research and precedent studies.

Develop floor plans, and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

Prepare construction drawings, details, and specifications under supervision.

Assist in creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using CAD software and Sketch Up platforms.

Create furniture layouts, lighting plans, and finish schedules.

Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and material palettes for client review.

Attend client meetings to understand their vision, requirements, and budget constraints.

Present design concepts and revisions based on client feedback.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and team members on project-related tasks.

Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Stay current with industry trends, sustainable materials, and emerging technologies.

Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other design professionals throughout the construction process.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is maintained.

Address any design-related issues that arise during construction.
