Lakdi.com is looking for a creative, detail-oriented
Junior Interior Designer
with at least
2 years of hands-on experience minimum
in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. The ideal candidate should be skilled in design software, understand space planning, and be able to collaborate with clients, design leads, and the production team.
Key Responsibilities Design & Concept Development
Assist in developing interior design concepts and mood boards.
Prepare layouts, 2D working drawings, and detailed furniture plans.
Support senior designers in creating design presentations for clients.
Technical Drawings & Documentation
Create accurate technical drawings, elevations, and 3D renders.
Prepare BOQ, material specifications, and project documentation.
Work closely with carpenters, production teams, and vendors for execution.
Project Coordination
Conduct site visits for measurements and progress monitoring.
Coordinate with clients to understand design requirements.
Assist in ensuring project timelines, quality, and client satisfaction.
Furniture & Material Knowledge
Basic understanding of modular furniture, materials, finishes, and ergonomics.
Ability to recommend furniture, lighting, color palettes, and decor options.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture.
2+ years of experience
in interior design or related field.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
SketchUp / 3ds Max
V-Ray / Enscape
Photoshop / Illustrator (preferred)
Strong visualization and detailing skills.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of modular furniture design.
Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
Understanding of material selection & site execution.
