PHP Laravel Developer

to join our technical team. The role involves working on core development initiatives, managing application environments, and contributing to continuous product and infrastructure improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, upgrade, and maintain web applications using

PHP Laravel

, ensuring alignment with functional and technical requirements. Produce structured, maintainable, and high-quality code that adheres to established development standards. Enhance application efficiency by identifying performance issues, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring system stability under various load conditions. Work with

MySQL databases

, including schema creation, optimization, and data organization for improved application responsiveness. Build, integrate, and maintain

RESTful APIs

to support cross-system communication and seamless functionality. Manage server environments--including deployments, routine updates, system backups, and monitoring server health. Utilize

Git

for version control, ensuring proper code management and smooth collaboration across the team. Follow secure coding principles to safeguard application logic, data integrity, and user information. Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with the team to ensure consistency and technical quality. Create and maintain technical documentation, including code references, workflows, and system configuration details. Work closely with the UI/UX team to ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end components. Coordinate with internal teams and/or clients to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and support delivery timelines. Troubleshoot issues in live systems and ensure stable application performance and a positive user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

Solid experience in

PHP

with hands-on development expertise in the

Laravel framework

. Knowledge of relational database systems such as

MySQL

, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning. Good understanding of

MVC architecture

and structured software development practices. Experience managing and configuring web servers like

Apache

or

Nginx

. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for smooth back-end integration. Strong understanding of

Git-based workflows

, including branching, merging, and version management. Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities across development and production environments. Eagerness to learn, adapt, and stay updated with evolving development tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience. Previous experience working with Laravel in an organized development environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and deliver reliable results within project timelines.
