Overall Accountability:

Responsible for assisting in the plant's mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. The Junior Fitter will help handle machine breakdowns, preventive maintenance tasks, and support the mechanical team in daily operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical machines such as Mixers, Presses, Polishing Lines, and other equipment. Support in attending and resolving mechanical breakdowns to ensure quick machine recovery. Perform routine preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule. Help with tasks like machine alignment, lubrication, bearing replacement, belt tensioning, and gearbox servicing. Provide support to senior fitters and the maintenance team as required.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

2-3 years in mechanical maintenance, preferably in slab, marble, stone, or ceramic manufacturing units.

Required Skills:

Basic troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills. Good understanding of plant machinery and maintenance tools. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Certifications:

Automation Training Certificate (if available)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
