Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Fashion Merchandiser - Sourcing & Production

to manage supplier identification, material procurement, and production coordination. The role involves working closely with

weaver clusters, vendors, factories, and internal design teams

to ensure timely sampling, approvals, and bulk production.

Fluent spoken Hindi is mandatory

for effective communication with suppliers and artisan clusters across India.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and onboard

fabric, trim, and accessory suppliers

(fabrics, buttons, zippers, labels, packaging, etc.) Liaise with

weaver clusters, loom units, artisan groups, vendors, and factories

Negotiate

prices, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms

Prepare and manage

material and production cost sheets

Procure all materials as per approved designs and specifications Plan and manage

sampling and bulk production timelines

Create and maintain

production and procurement trackers

Coordinate

proto, fit, and final samples

and track approvals Ensure smooth transition from

sample approval to bulk production

Monitor production progress and proactively resolve delays or quality issues Communicate specifications, timelines, and changes clearly in

Hindi and English

Requirements

Diploma in

Fashion Technology, or Apparel Merchandising

2 - 3years of experience in

fashion merchandising, sourcing, or production

Fluent spoken Hindi - mandatory

Working knowledge of

English

Strong understanding of

fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes

Proficiency in

MS Excel / Google Sheets

Strong negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
