Job Title: Jr. Estimation Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad

Reports To: Purchase Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil and construction projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documents. The Estimation Engineer will play a key role in project planning and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

? Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare cost estimates.

? Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.

? Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and rate analysis based on market trends and company standards.

? Coordinate with architects, engineers, suppliers, and contractors to gather necessary information.

? Review and assess tender documents and client requirements.

? Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for tenders.

? Update cost databases and estimation software regularly.

? Support the project and procurement teams during execution by providing cost-related

insights.

? Track and analyze project costs against budgets and provide variance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

? Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.

? Minimum 2-5 years of experience in estimation, preferably in the construction or

infrastructure sector.

? Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, etc.).

? Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.

? Good negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

? Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
