Junior Estimation Engineer

to join our dynamic team in Kochi.

Job Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil, infrastructure, and construction projects. Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope. Perform material take-offs, quantity surveying, and rate analysis. Coordinate with the engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather relevant data. Assist in preparing BOQ, cost sheets, and tender submissions. Analyze vendor quotations and update cost databases. Support senior estimation engineers in preparing technical and commercial proposals. Maintain records of past estimates for future reference and cost optimization. Participate in project meetings and provide estimation-related inputs.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering. 2-5 years of proven experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or related roles. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (if applicable). Good analytical skills with high attention to detail. Strong communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work under timelines and coordinate with multiple teams.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in infrastructure, commercial, or industrial projects. Knowledge of local material rates and vendor networks in Kerala. Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
