Role Purpose

Logistics -Sourcing Team.

Responsibilities/ task

Key Responsibilities with brief description according to priority

Requirement Assessment

Project-related summary of parts and components requirements for the entire engineering process. Ongoing revision of requirements throughout the entire project phase. Creation of schedules and timelines for parts manufacturing and procurement according to the PTK/PTM process.

Preparation Activities for Parts Procurement

Preparation of the overall requirements list concerning order-relevant parts and assemblies. Management and maintenance as well as monitoring of the TFT. Obtaining quotes (internally) and participating in supplier selection.

Parts Commissioning

Selection of the manufacturing process considering deadlines, costs, and technical requirements. Commissioning of parts and components for the various engineering departments according to the specified requirements.

Material Management

Ongoing urgency of the commissioned parts and assemblies concerning deadlines. Clarification of technical and scheduling issues with the design departments. Participation in specialist group and supplier meetings.

Key Performance Indicators

Quotation Management Before Deadline Part-Placement Regular & Clean Order Delivery Timely execution of shipments through nominated service provider Weekly reporting - Documentation preparation and compilation
