Roles & Responsibilities:

• Software testing of windows applications and device drivers.
• Prepare and execute test cases.
• Issue reporting and verification.
• Create, debug and execute test automation scripts

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• 2-3 years of Experience in Testing domain
• Knowledge of product life-cycle and software development life cycles
• Experience in Windows Application and Driver testing
• Experience in UWP app testing
• Strong platform testing skills (able to understand driver, BIOS/FW, applications, OS specific issues)
• Experience in Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, Test Reporting.
• Experience in Functional testing ,Installation Testing , Performance & Security Testing
• Experience in design and create test cases to address all stated and implied requirements without compromising on coverage
• Experience in using Test Management & Defect Management tools
• Experience in working in agile test team
• Experience in defect reporting - identify, analyse, and document problems with objective, description and evidences.
• Expertise in exploratory and acceptance testing of iteratively developed features
• Ability to interface with customers and/or stakeholders from remote sites
• Good knowledge on Windows OS updates related testing
• Hand on experience in WHQL certification
• Experience in using Memory testing tools
• Experience with Git or other distributed version control systems
• Experience in python scripting and test automation.

Desired Skills:

• Experienced in platform validation activities \xe2\x80\x93 able to load Windows OS in the target hardware, configure and test standard Windows Applications.
• Good understanding of Windows OS & internals
• Knowledge in integrating peripherals such as blue-tooth, USB devices and the like.
