Job Title: Junior Engineer / Engineer (Process Optimization)

Experience Level: 5-8 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Engineer (5-8 years) to boost factory efficiency, cut waste,and modernize our precision machining and assembly operations.

The role requires proven expertise in implementing Lean tools, performing Time and Motion Studies, optimizing Factory Layouts, and deploying IoT (Industry 4.0) solutions. This role directly executes projects that improve productivity, cost, and quality

.Key Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement & Lean:o Lead improvement projects using Lean methods (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Poka Yoke) across the facility.o Focus on reducing scrap, improving flow, and optimizing CNC machining cycle times
.o Work Measurement:

o Conduct detailed Time and Motion Studies to set accurate labor standards and balance production lines.

o Analyze work methods and operator ergonomics to eliminate non-value-added

activities.

Factory Planning:o Design and optimize Factory Layouts for material flow, machine placement,and safety.
o Use CAD and simulation tools to model future facility changes.o Smart Factory / IoT

:o Implement IoT and data acquisition systems (MES) for real-time monitoring

of machine health and utilization.

o Utilize data analytics to enable predictive maintenance and improve OEE.o

Project Management:

o Manage improvement projects from initial concept through validation and

handover.

o Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and project ROI.

Qualifications and SkillsRequired (Must-Have)

:o Education:

Diploma or bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering,Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field

.o Experience: 5 to 8 years of dedicated experience in a high-volume, precision

manufacturing industry

.o Core IE Skills: Proven proficiency in time study techniques, method engineering, andfactory layout design.

Ergonomics Expertise:
Practical experience in applying ergonomic assessment tools(RULA, REBA).

Equipment Experience: Hands-on experience working with or optimizing processes
around CNC machines.

Software: Proficient in AutoCAD software and MS Office (especially Excel).Preferred (Nice-to-Have): Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is highly preferred. Technical Knowledge:
Basic technical understanding of hydraulic fittings or similar precision components.o Digital Skills: Experience with basic data acquisition/visualization related to IOT or SCADA systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?65,000.00 per month
