Conduct regular site visits to track progress, check quality against plans, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Documentation:
Maintain site diaries, progress reports, safety logs, material records, and assist with digital documentation systems.
Coordination:
Liaise with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
Technical Support:
Assist with interpreting drawings, preparing site layouts (setting out), and providing technical data.
Safety & Quality:
Promote and enforce Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, and report any non-conformances or hazards.
Material Management:
Assist in monitoring material delivery, stock, and quality for compliance.
Reporting:
Prepare reports on site conditions, progress, delays, and resource usage for senior staff.
Key Duties
Assisting with site surveys and setting out.
Allocating tasks to labor and supervising work execution.
Troubleshooting technical issues and defects.
Calculating work volumes and monitoring costs.
Learning & Growth
Works under direct supervision, developing skills in a learning capacity.
