Job Description

The Junior Civil Engineer will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring construction activities at the site. The role involves coordinating with contractors, ensuring quality control, maintaining documentation, and supporting senior engineers in day-to-day project activities.

A. Site Execution & Supervision

Assist in daily site activities as per drawings and specifications. Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of tasks. Supervise contractors, workers, and vendors on-site. Ensure safety protocols and site discipline are followed.

B. Quality Control

Check quality of materials, workmanship, and ensure standards are maintained. Assist in conducting tests (concrete, soil, materials) where required. Report any deviations from drawings or quality issues to senior engineers.

C. Planning & Coordination

Support preparation of daily/weekly work schedules. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and vendors. Ensure availability of materials by coordinating with the procurement team.

D. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain site records such as DPR (Daily Progress Report), measurement sheets, checklists. Assist in preparing BOQs, estimates, and material requirement sheets. Document work progress and take site photos for reporting.

E. Drawings & Technical Support

Understand and interpret civil drawings (structural, architectural, services). Assist in marking the site as per drawings (setting-out). Support senior engineers in preparing revised drawings or sketches when needed.

F. Compliance & Safety

Ensure all statutory and company compliance requirements are followed. Maintain safety checklists and incident reports if any. Promote safe working practices among workers.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
