The Junior Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring that construction work aligns with structural drawings, maintaining quality standards, and managing labor productivity to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision:
Oversee all stages of building construction, including excavation, PCC, RCC work, masonry, plastering, and finishing.
Drawing Interpretation:
Read and implement architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings accurately.
Quality Control:
Ensure the quality of materials (cement, steel, sand, etc.) and workmanship meet the specified Indian Standard (IS) codes.
Daily Reporting:
Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), labor attendance logs, and material consumption registers.
Labor Management:
Coordinate with petty contractors and supervisors to ensure efficient labor deployment and safety on-site.
Measurement & Billing:
Assist in taking on-site measurements for contractor billing and verifying "As-Built" dimensions.
Safety Compliance:
Enforce site safety protocols and ensure workers use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Candidate Profile:
Education
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience
0-3 years of civil execution experience in residential or mixed-use real estate projects,
with mandatory experience in weekend villa projects.
