Job Description

A Junior Electrical Engineer primarily assists senior engineers in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. They conduct research, analyze data, and contribute to project planning and implementation. They also participate in troubleshooting, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Assisting in Design:

Junior engineers support senior engineers in the design of electrical systems, components, and circuits.

Testing and Analysis:

They conduct tests on electrical equipment and systems, analyze data to identify issues, and ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.

Project Support:

They participate in project planning, implementation, and documentation, including preparing technical drawings and reports.

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:

They assist in identifying and resolving technical issues related to electrical systems and components.

Collaboration:

They work with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and process engineers, to ensure project success.

Staying Updated:

They keep abreast of new technologies, industry standards, and safety regulations related to electrical engineering.

Documentation:

They prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and test results.

Quality Control:

They participate in quality checks of installed and new equipment, ensuring adherence to standards.

Safety Compliance:

They ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant health and safety guidelines.

Training and Mentoring:

In some cases, they may assist in training junior engineers and technicians.
