Job Description

Seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with 1+ year experience in solar PV systems (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid) to support design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar projects while ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities:

Solar Design & Engineering

Assist in design and sizing of solar PV systems (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid) Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), wiring layouts, and system schematics Calculate load, inverter, battery, and cable sizing Support system configuration for net metering and grid synchronization

Installation & Commissioning

Supervise and support installation of solar panels, inverters, and wiring Assist in testing, commissioning, and performance validation Ensure proper earthing, lightning protection, and safety compliance Coordinate with vendors and site teams

Operations & Maintenance (O&M)

Perform basic troubleshooting of PV systems, inverters, batteries, and protection devices Monitor system performance and identify efficiency losses Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of solar PV systems (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid) Understanding of inverters, batteries (Lead Acid/Lithium), and charge controllers Basic knowledge of net metering, grid interconnection, and electrical panels Ability to read electrical drawings and SLDs Familiarity with AutoCAD / PVsyst (optional)

Qualifications:

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI (relevant section) 0.6-1 year experience in solar power projects (installation, design, or O&M)

Skills & Other Requirements:

Good communication and coordination skills Willingness to work on-site and travel as required Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a team Must have a 2-wheeler for site visits
