Job Description

GS Global Academy is looking for a

Junior Education Counsellor (Buddy Counsellor)

to support students planning to study abroad. This role focuses on

student coordination, guidance, and support

throughout the application and pre-departure journey. You will act as a

mentor and point of contact

, ensuring students feel confident and supported from application to settlement.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a

buddy/mentor

for students planning to study abroad Coordinate with

senior counsellors, visa team, and parents

for smooth student transition Assist with

student and university applications

Prepare and manage

support documents, checklists, and resource materials

Schedule

student appointments

with counsellors Organise

group interaction sessions

for students going to the same country or university Support the

assigned counsellor

in daily counselling and coordination tasks Ensure students are guided through

pre-departure processes

and cultural readiness

Eligibility & Skills

Graduate or final-year student (any stream) Good

communication skills

(English + Hindi/Marathi preferred) Interest in

abroad education / student counselling

Organised, empathetic, and student-friendly approach Freshers welcome (training will be provided)
