The Role: What You'll Be Doing (The Training)

This entry-level role is designed for someone passionate about video and eager to refine their professional skills. You will work directly with our Senior Editor and Creative team, supporting the post-production workflow for all marketing videos.

Asset Organization:

Be the guardian of our digital assets. Import, log, categorize, and organize raw footage, ensuring all files and project libraries are clean, consistent, and easily accessible.

Basic Assembly & Cuts:

Execute precise rough cuts, B-roll insertions, and simple sequence assembly based on detailed direction from the Senior Editor.

Support Graphics:

Prepare and insert simple text overlays, lower thirds, and intro/outro graphics using existing templates.

Technical Quality Checks:

Assist with basic color correction, noise reduction, and initial audio cleanup (levelling music and voice-overs).

Version Control & Exports:

Manage different video versions (revisions for feedback) and perform final high-quality exports, ensuring adherence to specific platform requirements (e.g., correct aspect ratio for Instagram Stories vs. YouTube).

Research:

Help research music tracks, sound effects, and current video trends to keep TIDA Sports' content fresh and relevant.

Feedback Implementation:

Efficiently incorporate detailed feedback and notes from the creative team into existing edits.
What You'll Bring (Essential Gear)

Education/Experience:

A degree or certificate in Film, Video Production, Multimedia, or a related field,

OR

1 year of professional experience or high-level internship experience in video editing.

Technical Skills:

Foundational proficiency in the

Adobe Creative Suite

, specifically

Adobe Premiere Pro

. Basic familiarity with

Adobe After Effects

is a bonus.

A Strong Reel:

A demo reel (student projects are acceptable) that showcases excellent technical understanding of editing, pacing, and visual storytelling. Experience editing fast-paced, high-energy content is preferred.

Meticulous organizational skills are crucial for managing large volumes of footage and project files.
