We're looking for a Junior Django Developer who wants to ship, break, fix, and ship again -- all while learning how production systems actually work

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django 5.x and Django REST Framework.

Work hands-on with PostgreSQL -- modeling schemas, writing optimized queries, and improving performance.

Implement real-world business logic, taking features from idea to production.

Integrate third-party services including Google APIs, OAuth 2.0 flows, and external REST APIs.

Debug and resolve production issues, improving system reliability and observability.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that the team can build on.

Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ship meaningful features.

Required Tech Stack

Python & Django 5.2+

Django REST Framework

PostgreSQL (indexes, relationships, query optimization)

JWT-based authentication

OAuth 2.0 & Google APIs (Gmail API)

Git for version control and collaboration

Production deployments and real user traffic

What We're Looking For

Min 1 year of Django experience, or strong real-world / portfolio projects.

Solid Python fundamentals and understanding of Django best practices.

Practical experience with RESTful API design, serializers, permissions, and authentication.

Good grasp of relational databases -- joins, constraints, migrations, and performance tuning.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills -- comfortable tracing issues in production.

Curiosity and eagerness to learn -- you enjoy working with real systems, not just tutorials.

Clear communicator who works well in a collaborative team environment.
