Role Overview

We are hiring a

Junior Django Developer

with

2.5-3 years of proven experience

in backend development and system design. This role is strictly open for

Ahmedabad & Gandhinagar-based candidates only

. If you do not meet this criteria, your application will not be considered.

You will work closely with senior developers, frontend developers, product managers, and designers, contributing to the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems using

Django/Django REST Framework

. Assist in building and maintaining

REST APIs

for smooth integration with frontend applications. Work with

PostgreSQL

, MongoDB, or Supabase for effective database management and querying. Assist in implementing basic caching, performance optimization, and adhering to scalable system design. Support cloud deployment tasks (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code. Integrate and test third-party APIs (e.g., Razorpay, external services). Debug, test, and resolve issues across backend workflows under guidance.
Strict Candidate Requirements

Minimum

2.5-3 years

of professional experience in backend/full stack development. Must be a resident of

Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar

- candidates from other locations will be rejected without review. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Proficiency in Python (Django/DRF).

Strong foundational knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases (

PostgreSQL

, MongoDB). Hands-on experience with REST APIs and system design concepts. Knowledge of Git & version control.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Experience with React.js or basic frontend development. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). Basic knowledge of Payment Gateway Integrations (Razorpay, Stripe, etc.). Exposure to analytics dashboards.
