Job Description

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and automated software delivery. Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to streamline application development, deployment, and operations. Monitor application and infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Automate repetitive tasks and operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and other IaC tools as required. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations. Implement security best practices across pipelines and infrastructure, including secrets management, IAM controls, and vulnerability scanning. Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, or similar. Work with teams on release planning and deployment strategies to ensure smooth and coordinated application releases. Use containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) to manage scalable application environments. Plan and implement backup, disaster recovery, and resiliency strategies for critical systems. Optimise infrastructure and cloud costs through resource planning and efficient usage. Document all processes, configurations, architectural setups, and operational procedures for future reference. Stay updated with new DevOps tools, cloud trends, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement. Create proof-of-concepts (POCs) for emerging tools and technologies to evaluate their adoption.
