Job Description

A Demand Planner forecasts future product or service demand, analyzes data to optimize inventory levels, and collaborates with various teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations. They strive to balance supply and demand to minimize costs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Key Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting:

Analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant factors to create accurate demand forecasts for different products, product lines, or services.

Inventory Optimization:

Working to maintain optimal inventory levels, balancing the need to meet customer demand with the cost of holding inventory.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Interacting with sales, marketing, operations, and other teams to gather information, share insights, and align on demand forecasts.

Data Analysis:

Utilizing data analysis techniques and demand planning software to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks or opportunities.

Supply Chain Optimization:

Contributing to the overall efficiency of the supply chain by providing accurate demand forecasts and insights to inform production, procurement, and distribution planning.
Skills and Qualifications:

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop statistical forecasting models.

Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with various teams and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Bachelor's Degree:
