Job Summary:

We are looking for a

Junior Data Modeler

to support our enterprise data initiatives. You will assist in designing, documenting, and developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models for modern cloud platforms and contribute to data transformation, lineage, and integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Support development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models under the guidance of senior team members. Participate in data discovery, profiling, and mapping of data from source to target systems. Document metadata including business definitions of entities and attributes. Work on Source to Target Mapping (STTM) documents for ETL and reporting teams. Assist in maintaining reusable data models aligned to business domains like Customer, Sales, Finance, and Supplier. Contribute to collaborative model reviews and documentation. Work with data stewards and analysts to support governance and lineage efforts. Provide support for data planning and analysis activities on assigned projects.

Required Skills:

Basic understanding of data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, Erwin). Familiarity with cloud data warehouse platforms like Snowflake, Synapse, or Databricks Lakehouse. Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases. Exposure to GitHub or similar version control systems. * Willingness to learn SAP/HANA data models and unstructured/analytical data structures.
