Key Responsibilities:

Manage and administer various databases, including but not limited to SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM Db2, and MongoDB. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement efficient database solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures. Conduct regular database capacity planning and performance tuning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of proven experience as a

Database Administrator

. Strong proficiency in structured query language (SQL) and hands-on experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, IBM Db2, and MongoDB. Understanding and experience working with cloud platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services) / GCP (Google Cloud) In-depth knowledge of database design, implementation, and maintenance. Familiarity with database security best practices. Experience in performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
