As an Junior Data Analyst, you will support the analytics department by providing accurate data insights and analysis across different functional areas. You will work closely with senior analysts and team leaders to contribute to strategic decisions and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and acquire relevant data from various sources (databases, spreadsheets, applications) as per project needs.
Perform basic data cleaning, including handling missing values and formatting inconsistencies.
Explore and understand dataset structures and content.
Assist senior analysts with data analysis using established methodologies and tools.
Learn and apply data visualization techniques to create basic charts and graphs.
Identify potential trends or anomalies for further investigation.
Help prepare reports and presentations by summarizing analysis results.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions with insights.
Work closely with team leads to understand project goals and timelines.
Maintain organized documentation of data sources and cleaning processes.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
Assist with data quality control tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
