Digital content writing, the ability to do primary and secondary research, adherence to SEO practices and brand-related guidelines are key to this role. We are looking for individuals who are creative, grammatically sound, quick learners and have the ability to deliver within tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Ideating for industry and category-relevant topics Writing engaging and SEO-optimised content for the blog. The writer should have the ability to adapt their writing style according to different geographies and channels Creating metadata (SEO titles, descriptions and image alt text) as per SEO guidelines Undertaking primary research (speaking to designers, partner brands, homeowners etc.) and secondary research Contributing to ad hoc writing and website updation tasks as needed Creating the Social Media Calendar in collaboration with the Managing Editor and Social Media team Crafting the Newsletter for the Magazine in collaboration with the Design Team Shortlisting appropriate graphics for the blog from internal and external databases Job Requirement A bachelor\'s in English, Journalism or similar fields Language enthusiast with a keen eye for grammar and usage 1-2 years experience in writing digital content Hands on experience with SEO is preferred A basic understanding of publishing tools such as WordPress or an alternate CMS Elementary knowledge of the home interiors landscape is preferred
