The Junior Compliance Executive supports the Compliance team in monitoring and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to build a foundational understanding of corporate compliance, governance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring company operations to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
Maintain and update compliance records, registers, and documentation.
Assist in preparing reports for internal audits and external regulatory bodies.
Help investigate and document incidents of non-compliance.
Track regulatory changes and assist in interpreting their impact on the organization.
Assist in organizing compliance training and awareness programs for staff.
Support senior compliance staff in ad hoc projects, audits, and risk assessments.
Ensure proper filing and maintenance of compliance-related documentation.
Key Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
Experience:
0-2 years in compliance, legal, audit, or administrative roles (internships are acceptable).
Skills and Competencies:
Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and organizational abilities
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
