Position Overview

We are looking for a

Junior Civil Engineer

with hands-on experience in

high-rise construction projects

to support our senior engineering and project management teams. The candidate should have a strong technical foundation, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage on-site activities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision & Execution

Assist in managing day-to-day construction activities at high-rise project sites. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety guidelines. Supervise contractors and site labour to maintain construction quality and timelines. Verify work measurements and assist in preparing daily site progress reports.

2. Quality Control & Compliance

Monitor quality of materials and workmanship at site. Conduct and record material testing as per quality standards and IS codes. Identify defects or deviations and coordinate with senior engineers for corrective actions.

3. Coordination & Documentation

Liaise with architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants for technical clarifications. Maintain site records including inspection reports, material receipts, and labor deployment. Support senior engineers in preparing bar bending schedules, quantity take-offs, and estimates.

4. Project Planning & Reporting

Track project progress against planned schedules and report delays or issues. Assist in preparing work schedules and manpower/material planning. Provide updates and reports to the senior project manager and client representatives.

5. Safety & Site Management

Ensure adherence to site safety protocols and statutory regulations. Participate in safety meetings and enforce safety practices among workers. Maintain housekeeping and site discipline standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

civil construction methods

for high-rise projects (RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, finishing works, etc.). Good understanding of

construction drawings, BOQs, and quality standards

. Familiarity with

IS codes, structural layouts, and building bylaws

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic project management tools

. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.

Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

(Diploma candidates with relevant experience may also apply). Minimum

4 years of experience

in civil construction, with at least

2 years in high-rise building projects
