About the Role
We are looking for a
Junior Chef
to support daily kitchen operations at both our locations (The Studio and the Cafe). This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about plant-based cooking, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and cooking as per recipes and kitchen standards
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
Assist with prep work, inventory handling, and proper storage of ingredients
Follow SOPs related to food preparation, hygiene, and kitchen safety
Support catering, events, and special menus as required
Minimize food wastage and assist in cost control

Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior kitchen staff
Strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards
Punctuality and reliability in reporting to assigned shifts
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Physical ability to stand for long hours and perform basic kitchen tasks
Openness to feedback and readiness to improve skills
Respect for kitchen SOPs, processes, and workplace discipline
