Cooking and plating:
Assist senior chefs with cooking tasks, plate and present dishes according to established standards, and ensure food is cooked to the required specifications.
Kitchen maintenance:
Maintain a clean and sanitary work station, perform basic cleaning duties, and wash cooking appliances and utensils.
Inventory and stock:
Receive and check deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy, monitor stock levels, assist with taking inventory, and inform supervisors of low supplies.
Food safety:
Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, and assist in enforcing these standards among kitchen staff.
