Monitor and analyze security alerts from various security tools and systems, including Windows environments and Antivirus solutions.
Administer and maintain user accounts, permissions, and security controls within Active Directory.
Support and troubleshoot basic networking components such as DHCP and DNS within the organization's IT infrastructure.
Perform regular antivirus scans, updates, and incident response for detected threats.
Document and escalate potential security incidents as per SOC procedures.
Assist in routine audits and compliance checks relating to access controls, system activities, and configurations.
Maintain knowledge of cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices relevant to core technologies such as Windows and network services.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1 year of hands-on experience in cyber security operations, preferably within a SOC or IT helpdesk environment.
Basic working knowledge of Active Directory administration, DHCP configuration and troubleshooting, Windows server/client management, and Antivirus tools.
Familiarity with security incident monitoring and response processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Desirable Skills
Experience with additional security tools such as SIEM platforms for log analysis and incident detection.
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Command Line) for system administration tasks.
