Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of business analysis and software development processes, with a focus on gathering and documenting requirements, supporting solution delivery, and bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements. Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories or functional specifications for development teams. Assist in solution design by participating in brainstorming sessions, process mapping, and feasibility analysis. Support product and project managers in planning and tracking business analysis tasks. Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and help maintain product backlogs. Conduct impact analysis and support change management efforts. Validate solutions through testing support, including preparing test cases, performing UAT, and tracking bugs. Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in an IT environment. Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and/or Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence, and other BA/PM tools. Experience with basic SQL and data analysis is preferred.
