Biomedical Engineering / Electronics / Medical Electronics
Fresher or up to
1-2 years of experience
in ophthalmic or medical device field preferred
Job Responsibilities
Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of
ophthalmic equipment
(diagnostic and surgical).
Perform routine calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of instruments.
Provide
technical support
to doctors, optometrists, and clinical staff.
Assist in
product demonstration
, training, and basic application support.
Maintain service records, installation reports, and complaint logs.
Coordinate with the service team and OEM/vendors for spare parts and escalations.
Ensure compliance with
safety, quality, and regulatory standards
.
Support quality checks and documentation as required.
Key Equipment Exposure (Preferred)
Autorefractor / Keratometer
Slit Lamp
Non-Contact Tonometer
OCT / Fundus Camera
Phaco Machine / IOL related devices (added advantage)
Skills Required
Basic understanding of
biomedical devices and electronics
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel to client / hospital sites
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email reporting)
Good communication and customer-handling skills
Learning attitude and team player mindset
Other Requirements
Field service readiness
Two-wheeler & driving license (preferred)
Flexible working hours based on service calls
