Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior BIM Modeler to join our Civil team as an immediate joiner. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with minimal experience (0-6 months) who are eager to start their career in digital construction for civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for assisting in the creation, modification, and management of 3D BIM models for various infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior modelers in the development of 3D BIM models for civil infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, utilities, drainage systems, and site grading, using specialized BIM software.
Work from 2D drawings, point cloud data, and design specifications to accurately create and detail 3D models.
Ensure all models adhere to project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and company standards.
Perform basic clash detection and coordination checks under supervision.
Maintain and manage the digital drawing and modeling library, ensuring version control and data accuracy.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure the models accurately reflect the design intent.
Prepare documentation and model outputs, such as 2D drawings and quantity take-offs, from the BIM model.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 0 to 6 months of professional or intensive internship experience in BIM modeling, preferably in the Civil domain.
Software Proficiency: Basic to intermediate skills in a Civil BIM authoring tool such as Revit, Autodesk Civil 3D mandatory. Familiarity with other related tools (e.g., Navisworks) is a plus.
Immediate Availability: Must be ready to join the company immediately upon selection.
