The junior Billing Engineer will be responsible for measurement, quantity surveying, billing and documentation for industrial civil construction works, ensuring timely and accurate submission of client and subcontractor bills in coordination with site execution, planning, procurement and accounts teams.
Experience & Qualifications
Total Experience: not less than 3 years, not more 5 years
Billing related exposure: minimum 3 year of exposure to client billing is a must
Industry Exposure: Industrial construction projects (mandatory)
Qualification: B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering
Prior experience in client billing, subcontractor billing and measurement certification
Key Responsibilities
Quantity surveying and preparation of detailed take-offs
Maintenance of measurement sheets, abstracts and billing registers
Coordination with planning, procurement, accounts and site execution teams
Support audits, billing reconciliation and monthly cost reports
Tracking variations, extra items and scope changes in coordination with project team
Travelling to smaller sites for periodic billing in order to support the central billing team
Preparation and submission of client RA bills and subcontractor bills with complete supporting documents
Skill Expectations
Basic knowledge of industrial project billing, JMS, abstracts and estimation
Proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of AutoCAD
Basic understanding of contracts, BOQs and variation claims
Accuracy, attention to detail and discipline in documentation
