About the Role




We are seeking passionate and motivated professionals to join our 18-month Behavioral Therapy Training Program, focused on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and preparing for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. This hands-on U.S.-based opportunity is designed for international candidates with experience or education in psychology, education, or special needs.

About the Program:

We are excited to launch an international trainee initiative under the U.S. Department of State's J-1 Visa Program. This 18-month program offers graduates or final-year students from Psychology, Education, or Special Education backgrounds outside the USA the opportunity to gain hands-on training and practical experience as Behavioral Technicians (BTs) in the United States. Participants will complete the 40-hour RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) course virtually before arrival and will receive ongoing supervision and structured training while working directly with children with developmental needs. This program is designed to offer both professional development and a cultural exchange experience.

Key Responsibilities



Participate in structured training phases: observation, assistant roles, supervised therapy, and gradual independent session leadership Apply ABA principles to support children's behavioral and developmental goals Conduct therapy sessions under supervision, collect data, and document progress Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical teams on treatment implementation Engage in cultural exchange activities and community integration Adhere to ethical standards and J-1 program guidelines

Qualifications



Education:




Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field

Experience:



Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a related field with a relevant degree, OR 5+ years of related work experience without a formal degree

Additional Requirements:



Strong spoken and written English skills Interest in child development, mental health, or special education Ability to commit to an 18-month training period in the U.S. Completion of a 40-hour RBT training course (can be completed online before arrival) Willingness to undergo a U.S. background check and obtain RBT certification

Important Notes



This is a structured training program, not a salaried job J-1 program regulations may limit certain caregiving tasks The program is focused on clinical training, skill development, and cultural enrichment
